Open Range Sunrise (Cotton)

2009 AQHA/ARHA Mare by "Open Range" out of "Zippen Shady Lady".

Zippen Shady Lady wasa proven producer and a joy to have in our program in her later years. Five of her foals have amassed 203 AQHA show points as well as two futurity championships and 3 reserve championships. Cotton was her last foal.

This Fella Is Yella (Yella)

2004 Palomino Gelding by Mr Yella Fella out of Madam Perpetualism (by Perpetualism)

Steve bought "This Fella Is Yella" from the Nacogdoches Boys Ranch in Texas. www.nbrtx.com NBR is a treatment facility where severely abused children 7-13 are exposed to horses as part of their treatment. They showed Yella extensively on the PHBA circuits to the tune of two world championships. I'm proud to say that the photo of Yella shows him in action at the boys ranch.

Lisa starting fitting him in December of 2010 when he arrived in Canada from Texas. When he arrived he was so shocked by the cold he fell down the ramp of the transport truck and tore up his knees and cannons really badly. Brian Heide did a great job of stitching up what he could and Lisa nursed the wounds up and started fitting him to show in Alberta. Lisa has done a fantastic job:

PP Prozac Prescription (Paris)

PP Prozac Prescription was a very talented yearling filly by Lucky Diamond Chip. She is going to be a really competitive all around amateur horse and thus far is having a great start. Diane has sold Paris in order to find an older broke show horse.

Diane and Paris took first under all four judges in their very first yearling lunge line class at the Hay City Classic Paint show. Thanks Diane for entrusting my yearling program.

Owned by Betty Anne Vivian of Valleyview, Alberta and bred by Schiestel/Cawsey partnership.

Diggnity was with me from 2009 to 2011. He has gone back to Valleyview to be with his wonderful owners Gordon and Betty Anne Vivian. I wish them nothing but the best in the future with this incredible horse and give great thanks for believing that this big knobby kneed boy could become something special.
